Couples or Filipinos with foreign spouses often get confused about which financing option is better  Pag-IBIG or a private bank.

I’m a Filipino married to a foreigner. We’re planning to buy a condo — which is better, Pag-IBIG or a bank loan?

Pag-IBIG has lower interest rates (around 6.5%) and longer payment terms (up to 30 years), but approval takes time. Bank loans are faster but rates can be higher (6%–9%) with shorter terms. If you qualify for Pag-IBIG, it’s more affordable long-term. For speed, a bank loan is more practical.
