Foreigners often ask if they get the same flexible payment terms as Filipino citizens when taking out property loans.

Do foreigners get the same loan term as locals when applying for property financing?

Loan terms for foreigners are usually shorter than for locals. Most banks offer 5–15 years for foreigners with resident visas, while Filipinos can get up to 20 years. Pag-IBIG offers the longest term (up to 30 years), but only for Filipino citizens.
